This collaboration brew, involving Hale's, Red Hook and Pike Brewing was made in 2016 for Seattle Beer Week. A distinguishing characteristic of this IPA is a large amount of wheat malt in the grain bill, hence the "W" in WIPA. The wheat malt provides a toasty balance to the assertive-but-not-over-the-top hopping. Alcohol is also somewhat moderate as well at about 6.5% Very tasty and drinkable!
