FFrank visited King 5's "New Day Northwest" this week:

2013 marks Hale's
30th Anniversary!!

of  brewing fresh craft made ales
for Northwest beer lovers.

The original (and current) Hale's partners at the Colville brewery in 1983

As we all  know Hale's was first brought to Seattle via covered wagon (well not really ...)

This was taken at the Stevens County Fairgrounds in 1983 -- the county was celebrating its first new brewery in a 100 years!

Hale's is the longest running independently owned brewery    in the Pacific Northwest.

Three very different and very delicious late Winter/early Spring
seasonal offerings  for your quaffing pleasure!

Look for them at  your favorite pubs and bottleshops!

BEER TASTING
That's wh
at we're talkin' about

Everybody likes to taste beer, and the only thing better than tasting one is to be able to taste three or more, of the same variety, SIDE-BY-SIDE

With that goal in mind, we've started an ongoing, fun, and  hopefully educational program in our Pub to do just that: Taste some of the most popular and sometimes legendary beers - not just Hale's! - that are available today. Taste
Pale Ales, Belgian Ales, India Pale Ales, Porters, etc ... side by side, in taster glasses, from some of the best
craft breweries in the world. It's a great way to experience the many varieties of beer, bust some myths (sometimes),
and just enjoy exploring the creative ways small brewers interpret the classic and new styles of craft beer.

Every few
weeks a new "Side-By-Side" tasting will
be introduced -- stop by and treat your taste buds!

Hale's Brew Pub is just north of downtown Seattle
on Leary Way between the Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods.

Cheers!
